The MED3DRUK Medical 3D Printing Laboratory extends its sincere gratitude to the Rotary Club of Bedford-Armonk, New York, USA, for its support and generous assistance in purchasing a professional Creality Raptor Pro 3D scanner.

3D scanning is one of the key stages in our digital workflow for creating personalized medical and rehabilitation devices. The new scanner will enable us to quickly and accurately digitize prostheses, limbs, and other anatomical structures, creating precise 3D models for further design and manufacturing.

This equipment will be particularly important in the production of personalized cosmetic and protective prosthetic covers. Accurate scanning of both the prosthesis and the patient’s healthy limb allows us to design each cover according to the exact geometry of the prosthesis, the individual’s anatomical characteristics, and the required symmetry.

The Creality Raptor Pro will also expand our capabilities in reverse engineering, digital modeling, and the development of customized medical and rehabilitation devices. It will help us reduce the time required to obtain accurate digital data, improve the precision of our models, and make the entire digital manufacturing workflow more efficient.
