MED3DRUK and Ivaldi Group Sign Memorandum of Cooperation

03 April 2025, Th

The MED3DRUK Medical 3D Printing Laboratory and Ivaldi Group have signed a memorandum of cooperation to jointly develop practical, digitally manufactured solutions that support the recovery, rehabilitation, and daily needs of individuals affected by the war in Ukraine.

Combining Local Expertise and Distributed Manufacturing to Meet Urgent Needs

Across Ukraine, thousands of civilians and veterans are living with injuries that require ongoing support—prosthetics, adaptive equipment, and tools for mobility and rehabilitation. At the same time, supply chains remain disrupted, and access to these essential resources is often delayed or unavailable.

MED3DRUK is working on the front lines of this crisis, designing and delivering customized prosthetic covers, rehabilitation tools, and assistive devices through its medical 3D printing lab. With deep connections to the local medical community and firsthand understanding of patients’ needs, MED3DRUK is creating solutions that are both functional and personal.

Ivaldi Group brings a proven track record of enabling distributed, on-demand manufacturing. By digitizing physical parts and sourcing production through a global network of certified fabrication partners, Ivaldi helps deliver critical components faster and closer to where they’re needed. Depending on part complexity, materials, and equipment availability, parts can be produced locally or within regional manufacturing hubs—reducing reliance on centralized supply chains and ensuring timely delivery.

A Partnership Focused on Real Impact

Together, MED3DRUK and Ivaldi Group will collaborate to co-develop:

• Custom decorative protective covers for functional leg prostheses
• Adjustable socket receivers designed for both comfort and adaptability
• Assistive tools that support independence in daily life
• Rehabilitation trainers and physical therapy aids to assist long-term recovery

By combining design expertise and deep local insight with a flexible, distributed production model, the partnership will expand access to high-need equipment for people recovering from trauma—making support more immediate, more responsive, and more personalized. The two companies have already designed their first assistive part in less than 24 hours - a custom tool enabling an amputee to shift gears without a hand.
