The Ukrainian American Coordinating Council (UACC)

The Ukrainian American Coordinating Council (UACC) is a non-partisan, non-profit national umbrella organization that unites many Ukrainian-American organizations, representing the interests of over 1,000,000 Americans of Ukrainian descent.

It includes fraternal, educational, veteran, religious, cultural, social, business, political, and humanitarian organizations, as well as individual members. Founded in 1965, the UACC, based in New York and San Francisco, supports local organizations across the United States. The UACC is a member of the Ukrainian World Congress (UWC). In 2006, together with a number of Ukrainian diaspora community organizations in the U.S., the UACC co-founded the "Coalition for Security and Democracy in Ukraine."

Today, the organization continues to support Ukrainian historical, political, and cultural heritage in the San Francisco Bay Area and California, sponsoring events such as Taras Shevchenko tribute concerts, Ukraine Independence Day celebrations at Golden Gate Park since 1964, the Millennium of the Christianization of Rus' celebrations, commemoration of the victims of the 1932-1933 Holodomor, and many other events and activities.

Eyes on Ukraine

Eyes on Ukraine is a non-profit organization dedicated to monitoring and improving the situation in Ukraine through the use of drones and other tools. With the help of drones, they can observe the situation from above and identify any problems. This could, for example, be border crossings, or observing hostile military activities in the region, or especially for demining the country.

Ukraine-Hilfe Berlin

"Ukraine-Hilfe Berlin" представляє гуманітарну організацію, яка надає допомогу постраждалим від війни в Україні. Збираються та відправляються гуманітарні та медичні вантажі, включаючи продукти, медикаменти, рятувальні автомобілі та техніку. Організація також допомагає українським дітям, надаючи медикаменти для поранених, підтримуючі ДСНС служби, та допомагає біженцям.

"RETURN OUR HISTORY" was established in 2022 in response to the challenges arising from Russia's war against Ukraine.

2022-2023

  • Evacuated civilians from the semi-besieged city of Chernihiv.
  • Delivered humanitarian aid to destroyed settlements.
  • Assisted the military with necessary equipment and transport.
  • Distributed humanitarian aid to schools and rehabilitation centers.

2023-2024

  • Initiated the HUMANITY project (rehabilitation and socialization of veterans).
  • Purchasing equipment for 3D printing and starting to produce various devices for the defense forces.
  • Collaborating with PrintArmy - printing both for them and directly for the military.
  • In collaboration with the National University "Chernihiv Polytechnic," creating a research and development center for 3D printing technologies in Chernihiv.
  • Successfully scanning, modeling, and printing cosmetic covers for various types of prostheses for veterans.

Dr. Brett Carey

Dr. Brett Carey is a graduate of Old Dominion’s 2010, Doctor of Physical Therapy school. His career begun with co-founding the start up IREHAB.com which became the 43rd most downloaded fitness app - out of 7,000 fitness apps in 2013.
Brett has had extensive non profit involvement and has served as the Board President of several non profits including: the West Hawaii Community Health Centers, Project Expedite Justice and We Make Hawaii. In 2019, was appointed as an ambassador to Belfast, Northern Ireland and has ongoing roles in both peace keeping and business development.
Brett also served as the Key Opinion Leader for Desktop Metal’s Orthopedic division. He is also a licensed financial advisor and assists individuals and businesses with financial planning.

Arthur Hobden

Arthur is a 3d print designer who has spent the last 10 years working as a 3d specialist and industrial designer, and focuses on 3d design workflows that leverage both technologies in any custom fab setting. Arthur has worked in automotive, medical, engineering, dental, prototyping, pcb enclosures, props and film and also O&P, among others. With a passion for the 3d printing medium and software workflows, Arthur has implemented training for systems workflow for several practitioners, and uses his software skillset that bridges all genres of design to create catered, agnostic methodologies that allow users to not only learn the software tools to complete their jobs, but grow their CAD skills in highly versatile ways that can be compared against the context of what other fabrication industries are already doing.

Gordon, Designer (United Kingdom)

Gordon is a talented designer from the United Kingdom who was born in Canada. He studied history at Lakehead University in Thunder Bay and moved to the UK in 2014. Currently, Gordon works as an educational curriculum consultant.

In addition to his primary work, Gordon is a jeweler and actively volunteers with the MED3DRUK project. He assists in modeling decorative protective covers for functional leg prostheses, improving the quality of life for people who have lost limbs due to the brutal war initiated by russia.

Gordon is passionate about his work and is delighted to be part of this wonderful initiative, creating unique and stylish solutions for our heroes. His talent and dedication are valuable contributions to the project.
